LFD Off Road has announced the launch of its newly redesigned Low Profile Full Roof Rack System, marking the most significant evolution of the company’s roof rack lineup since its original introduction eight years ago.
Built on a legacy of millions of miles traveled on and off road, the new system refines everything customers love about LFD racks, while delivering meaningful improvements in aerodynamics, fitment, and overall driving experience.

The redesigned system sits a full 1 inch lower than previous generations, improving both aesthetics and aerodynamics. A steeper wind fairing optimizes airflow to reduce wind noise and drag – especially at highway speeds – while the rack maintains LFD Off Road’s signature strength and durability with 11-gauge stainless steel side rails and heavy-duty crossbars. Fully modular and accessory-compatible, the system can be configured for a wide range of uses, from streamlined rooftop tent setups to fully outfitted overland builds.

Key Features Include:
Low-profile design sitting 1" lower than previous racks
Redesigned aerodynamic wind fairing for reduced noise and drag
Heavy-duty steel or stainless steel crossbars with flexible configurations for different use cases (options vary by fitment)
Premium mounting hardware, including grade 8.8 stainless steel fasteners and Nord-Lock washers
Non-invasive installation utilizing factory mounting points with no drilling required
Full compatibility with LFD accessories and popular overland gear

“With this redesign, we set out to make a rack that performs better in every environment – on the highway, on the trail, and everywhere in between,” said Mike Hallmark, LFD Off Road Brand Manager. “Lower profile, quieter operation, and improved aerodynamics, all while maintaining the strength and modularity our customers rely on.”
