Front and Engine Skid Plate - 250 Series Land Cruiser (2024+)

Introducing our skid plate set for the 2024+ Land Cruiser 250!

Our skid plates are constructed of 3/16" steel or 1/4" aluminum. Replacing the factory skids, these bolt into pre-existing threads in the frame and require no permanent modifications to install.

Front and Engine skids are sold together as a two skid package and replaces the two OEM front and engine skids. 

The front skid increases clearance compared to the OEM skid, and is available with or without Cam Bolt Protection wings. The cam bolt protection wings follow the plane of the bottom of the frame and lower control arms, and protect the cam bolts from a frontal impact. If you want more ground clearance, choosing no wings will leave a slightly higher clearance profile, but with no cam bolt protection.

The front skid with the wings incorporates bolt on ribbing that helps reinforce the skid and break up the flat surface for contact with the ground. On Aluminum skids the ribs remain steel to provide a "slippery" surface - aluminum is notoriously "grabby" when sliding. Front skids without cam bolt wings will not get bolt on ribbing. All front skid options include oil filter access doors. 

The engine skid bolts directly behind the front skid and protects the engine. Featuring an oil drain door and stiffening bends, the skid provides necessary protection for off road use. The engine skid comes with the front skid in the same material selected. 

Our skids also mate up with our new front winch bumper to create a fully covered transition between bumper and skid.
